What we believe

Why should we listen to Jesus Christ?

The scripture tells us that Jesus Christ is the Word which was with God and which was God: John 1:1-13.

Obey our Lord Jesus Christ, hear ye Him!

It is no wonder that the scripture also points out to the commandment of God to listen to His Son: John 1:1-13. We notice that the scripture points out to the supremacy which Jesus Christ has in verse 5.

Why does God use a prophet?

Taking you a step back to the Old Testament Deuteronomy (18:15-18),
Moses also spoke about Jesus Christ saying:
The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy bretheren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken; According to all that thou desirest of the Lord thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God, neither let me see this great fire no more, that I die not. And the Lord said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken. I will raise them up a Prophet from among their bretheren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require of him.

Are the days of miracles and prophets over?

Also take notice of what Jesus said about John the Baptist John 1:6-8, this together with Matthew 17:10-13. Matthew 17:1-13 refers to the coming of Elias who was actually already raptured in 2 Kings II:11-14.

Who are Elijah and Elias?

Please do not be confused by the names Elijah and Elias because it is the same name with the same meaning, “my God is Jehovah” or “Yah(u) is God”. Despite the rapture of Elias/Elijah in 2 kings II:11-14, the Prophet Malachi clearly states the following in Malachi 4:1 and 4:5-6: Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.

God speaks through His Prophets

As we can clearly see in the scripture the children of Israel made clear to Moses that they wanted him to talk to the Lord and bring the Word of the Lord to them: Deuteronomy 5:23-28, Hebrews 1:1.
Also look to the ‘thus saith the Lord’ what the prophet Amos spoke to Israel in Amos 3:7.
Are you known with God’s secrets? If yes then, you have received this revelation through His prophets. If God’s prophets wouldn’t exist then God’s secrets would still be hid. And if God’s secrets are still hid, they should be made known and then a prophet is needed to make the secrets known.

By grace we received His gospel

We as gentiles received grace when Jesus Christ died for our sins, making a way for us to receive this glorious gospel; such as the Apostle Paul states in the scripture: Acts 22:17-21, Acts 11:1 and Acts 11:16-18.

The WORD in action

As the Apostle Paul mentioned in 1 Corinthians 2:4, it is the demonstration of the Word which is evident. Not only in signs and wonders but also in the common things of daily life.

God’s Love for His children

God cares about his children which we believe, by grace, we are: Jeremiah 3:13-15.
Also take note of Ephesians 4:10-15 how His care and love is being manifested and expressed.

No, never alone

As we know God would never leave His children and would be with them and comfort them: John 14:18-21, John 14:26-28 and Matthew 28:16-20. Concerning Matthew 28 please do not be confused for the Apostle Peter was clear about this in the scripture: Acts 2:38-39.
God has revealed His thoughts for this age and shared it with believers who believe in Him. He did not keep His thoughts as a mystery: Genesis 18:17, Revelations 10:1-6 and Revelations 10:7-11.

Hear ye Him!

Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
